It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of our beloved founder, pastor, and faithful servant of the Lord, Overseer Doris J. Bailey.
For many years, Overseer Bailey devoted her life to the work of the Kingdom. She faithfully preached the Gospel, demonstrated a life of holiness, served God’s people with compassion, and stood as a committed prayer warrior whose unwavering faith impacted countless lives. Although our hearts are heavy because she is no longer with us, we rejoice in knowing that she has finished her earthly race and has gone from labor to eternal reward. Her life, leadership, and steadfast commitment to Christ have left a lasting legacy that will continue to guide Purity Deliverance Holiness Church. We remain committed to carrying forward the vision she established—a church where the Word of God is taught without compromise, where lives are transformed by the power of Jesus Christ, and where all are welcomed to experience freedom, hope, and the love of God.
We respectfully ask that you keep the Bailey family, our church family, and all who were touched by her ministry in your prayers during this season of bereavement. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, strengthen and comfort every heart in the days ahead.
